Me and Us

Me, Christine, resides in inner Melbourne with a non-beer-drinking publican who is immersed in real world geekdom, as well as our two dirty monkeys who love sliding down the cinematic stairs of our charming old house. We have skinks and pink-bottomed baboons as neighbours. The two monkeys and I make our own fun mostly at all the playgrounds within a 10kilometre radius, the swampy backyard, the market, our museum-piece kitchen and some favourite libraries. This blog is generally an account of our daily grind as well as the more exciting vignettes and snapshots of our fun stuff, and again, mostly of my two dirty monkeys. If I wanted to make this a gritty account of my internal head musings I would have called this blog Dirty Gritty Monkey Water. There’s not much grit here but there’s a lot of giggles and some muck and yoghurt stains and Hills Hoists. So be warned, it’s our family journal.
